One step, one action, or one word may determine the outcome of that moment and ultimately determine the direction; the future.
Sometimes our path has obstacles and the next step is difficult. How do I move forward? What can I do?  When will this problem go away?  Who will help me? Where can I go?
There are answers to these questions. There are tools that can be useful to create the next step on your path.  One change, one tool may change the overwhelming feeling, to lighten the step on your journey.

Services Provided
My specialty is working with families and individuals who may be experiencing stress in the area of relationship dynamics; between parents' and child, and/or with the extended family. Stress can present itself in many forms; anxiety, depression, child behavior difficulties, school learning deficits, anger, and/or cut-off relationships and more subtle mood changes. You are a product of the emotional system in which you were raised.  A  child's mind is impressionable and will absorb, learn and develop a role, create their own emotional foundation and engage in their own dynamic. Sometimes the emotional system emits traumatic and stressful events.
I bring to light through assessment and evaluation  visual mapping to help understand the presenting symptoms.  Family systems is unique in that it highlights emotional dynamics within the family, having a ripple effect in undifferentiated individuals.   There is no blame or shame simply history as it has evolved through time.  Each family or individual has developed a unique system, no two are alike and that makes therapy a highlight.  When we see it as it is, the family can begin to take embedded patterns and make adjustments for positive change.  Problems can be a opportunity for learning and change.  Family systems therapy is powerful and a results driven therapy.
Children with behavior problems will react to the symptoms of the nuclear family. The Nuclear Family Emotional Process presents symptoms of anxiety in the family by, distancing, conflict, over functioning/under functioning, triangulation, undifferentiation and many more efforts to defuse the stress.
As positive changes are made children change too. Additional reinforcement can be made by developing behavior plans for children  with visual graphic organizers to create images modeling how to change behavior.
I work with victims of Narcissism and religious, emotional, physical abuse. Victims may experience numerous symptoms. Some deep in the subconscious and rooted in survival.  In the present, PTSD may be debilitating and trying to ignore the symptoms is an agonizing experience.
We work in an alliance, together finding the tools and solutions to ease pain, changing negative habits/ways of thinking to long-lasting new ways of living.  Each person has within them the answer, it is there, we just need to find and sort through the biological, psychological, social, environmental and spiritual aspects unique to the each person who seek help.  "Results" is the key word to problems.  Results bring change!
